Shaped refractories
Shaped refractories mainly refer about refractory bricks.These are made of various materials and in assorted shapes. Monolithic refractories
“Monolithic refractories” is a general term for refractories of granular material and clay type.
There are castable refractory materials, gunning materials, patching materials, and others which can be used in various ways depending on the particular purpose. -
Inslating refractories
“Inslating refractories” is a general term for refractory materials with low thermal conductivity.
As a representative of refractory bricks, these are used for linings and back-up linings in furnaces. -
Ceramic fibers
“Ceramic fiber” is a general term for man-made mineral fiber composed of mainly alumina and silica.
They are inorganic heat-resistant fibers and many types of them can be used even in the high temperature range of 1000℃ and above.
These are mainly used as heat insulation material/heat-resistant sealant for ceilings and furnace walls of industrial furnaces.
